.: EUGE GROOVE
For all you jazz diggers, "Livin' Large" is an absolute must for the next get down party on the calendar. Euge Groove delivers one of the best urban, contemporary jazz & R&B instrumental albums in a long time. The first track set the tone for the whole CD. It's one of those head bobbin' cuts that carry you into the next track. By this time, you are ready to hit the dance floor. When I say Euge Groove is groovin', he is fa' sho' tearing up the club. Groove adds a touch of hip-hop and nails it with an old favorite by Sly and the Family Stone. Groove knows how to pump it up and slow it down. I need not say anymore. "Livin' Large" speaks for itself. A definite for the party people.

.: PAUL BROWN
Producer-composer-arranger-engineer. Paul Brown may be GRP's newest artist, but by no means is he new to the industry. Brown has produced some of smooth jazz heavyweights like Boney James, Kirk Whalum, and Peter White, just to name a few. Well, Brown should now add his own name to the list because Up Front is the total smooth jazz experience. It makes Brown a true contender. When brown decided to move over into the "musician as a n artist" driving seat, he came to roll. “Wes Coast Swing," "Phat City," "24/7," and “Dear Ndugo" all have one of the nicest millennium West Coast smooth jazz sounds to date. I can hear touches of Wes Montgomery, but Brown has this, as he should. Two snaps and a hello for Paul Brown's Up Front. It's pure satisfaction.

.: KAI ALECE
One of the newest vocalist in the dimensions of pop, soul and jazz has hit center stage. Kai Alece has a voice that will move across music genres. Her debut album, Reason, Season or Lifetime, includes a stellar list of musicians. Ms. Alece will not disappoint, singing expressive lyrics and polished phrases. Her first single, “I Want You” is a classic remake, originally performed by Marvin Gaye. “River” and “Slow Down” shows the range in her vocal ability and she is a talent I am sure is here to stay. Oh and how about Blue Skies, Reason Season Lifetime and Too Soon Too Fast? What a way to emerge on to the scene. Alece delivers some of the finest leads and backgrounds, vocalizing and arranging twists on these great tunes. She performs each song with sophistication while entangling you with the charisma of her majestic voice.
