…“Over the years, I have been creating a legacy series about artists who have inspired me and Sarah is a critical missing piece that I’ve wanted to explore,” shares Callaway. “Applying my imagination to her body of work has been challenging and enriching it’s given me a chance to dig more deeply into the jazz part of my artistry, which she helped to spark when I was a little girl.

Kim Waters ~ Silver Soul
… Lasting romance should be celebrated, especially when it comes to monumental moments such as anniversaries. For 25 years, urban-jazz saxophonist Kim Waters has ardently set the mood with musical overtures, vows and come-ons that have been embraced to the tune of four No. 1 albums, 14 No. 1 singles and 16 Top 10 singles. The September 2 release of his 20th album, Silver Soul, commemorates a quarter century of romance on a disc of new R&B, contemporary jazz and pop gems that he produced, wrote (ten of the twelve songs) and performed (saxes, background vocals and all the instrumentation except for guitar).
“He’s cool, the music’s smooth, together they put you in the mood to groove.” … AJM
Patrick Bradley ~ Can You Hear Me
… It’s the third go round for Patrick Bradley and he set out to craft a collection that showcases the full spectrum of his keyboards and organ palate. Re-teaming with fusion pioneer Jeff Lorber to produce the project, Bradley surrounded himself with a collective of the finest contemporary jazz musicians, luminaries like Dave Koz, Rick Braun, Eric Marienthal and bass innovator Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets). While writing all ten compositions with Lorber, Bradley longed for his late mother to hear his music. On further contemplation, the spiritually inspired artist took the concept further by wondering if his communications with the divine were being heard thus the genesis for Can You Hear Me.
“Seamless, fluid, vibrational energy that is felt as well as heard.” … AJM
